The
Standard Woods used in the crafting of your custom guitar include:
Mahogany
Mahogany is a reddish-brown hardwood with a medium grain.
A wood with an exceptional when chosen for
proper density and integrity. Adds snap and sparkle
to the instrument. A definite advantage in a traditionally
boomy dreadnought. Mahogany has been underappreciated
because of its historical use in simpler, and therefore
less expensive, guitars.
Indian Rosewood
Indian Rosewood keeps the guitar at the warm dark end
of the tonal spectrum and has a rich and elegant appearance.
Maple
Maple gives a guitar a bright precise tone that is very
distinct from guitars built using Rosewood.
A large variety of other wood upgrade options are available and are
unique in their characteristics. We will be happy to
discuss the possibilities and variety of wood choices
before building your guitar. Contact us through The
